	Study Area
	The outside boundaries of the Downtown Parking Project's area of study were directed by action of Council Committee in June 2002. For working purposes, the consultant project team has created a preliminary set of subareas as illustrated below, based upon current practices or conventions. Neither the boundaries nor the labels of these subareas are necessarily final or definitive. For purposes of defining, analyzing and solving problems of parking, there may be many different ways to define the geography of Downtown. The project team welcomes suggestions and comments.
